Study Abroad Summer Camps for elementary and middle school students
May 1, 2019An Interview with Sue Ha, Head of School for HudsonWay Immersion School
June 2, 2019Each summer I like to recharge and bring back new experiences I can share with my students.
"It might be a little early to be creating a bucket list, but when I turned 30 I knew I had to celebrate this milestone in Africa. So my friends and I organized a trip where we spent weeks in Namibia, Tanzania and Kenya. We witnessed wild animals such as impalas, lions, rhinoceroses and giraffes. It made me want to learn how to protect these animals and our planet. I came back to teaching with greater wisdom and determination to help my students achieve their goals. No goal is beyond reach. I experienced this feeling when I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. I also came back humbled and want to teach my students to cherish all that they have.”
