Application Process

The application process is the same for each campus.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Visit HWIS - attend a virtual info session or in person tour
  2. Submit an application
  3. Upload supplemental materials (report card, teacher recommendation, ISEE scores) to portal
  4. Schedule child visit and parent interview
  5. Admissions Decision

To ensure placement, submit applications prior to the deadline. Afterwards, if after this time, spaces are available, we offer spots on a rolling basis.

Admissions Dates for SY24-2025

Early Decision and Sibling Applications Due - November 17, 2023
New student application Due (New York) - January 31, 2024
New student application Due (New Jersey) - February 29, 2024

Financial assistance is offered through several vehicles, including different payment plans and need-based tuition assistance.

Financial Aid

  • Financial Aid Request: Submit a letter outlining the need for financial aid to Bill Hicks, Chief Administrative Officer for HudsonWay Immersion School, at bhicks@hwis.org
  • Financial Aid Documentation: Submit parents’ or guardians' W-2s and IRS Form 1040s for the last two years via School & Student Services. Documents should not be submitted directly to HWIS.
  • Financial Aid Decision: Receive notification by the Chief Administrative Officer within two weeks of the submission of all required documentation to School & Student Services
