HWIS Parents

Parents are as essential to the success of our school as the students.

HWIS Parents are welcome to volunteer in a variety of capacities on committees, as class parents or as a guest for specific class events. Parent committees such as the Parent Ambassador Network connect new HWIS parents with existing ones to answer any questions and support transition to a new school.

HWIS Parents Association

The HudsonWay Immersion School Parents Association (HWISPA) members are unified in the belief that students should learn and be fluent in a second language and become well-versed in different cultures.

The HWISPA mission is to:

  • Represent the diverse community of parents at HudsonWay Immersion School (HWIS)
  • Promote a sense of community among the families and the administration
  • Support the school in creating an outstanding learning environment for the students, and
  • Enrich the student experience through the organization of school-wide events, activities and fundraising campaigns

All parents and guardians of our students are members of HWISPA. There are numerous ways to participate in the organization, and we welcome you to become an active participant - whether it’s becoming an HWISPA officer or volunteering for upcoming events and activities.
