HWIS partners with Total Immersion Experience for Spring Break Travels

Children learn languages naturally and easily in the early years.
Led by native speaking and experienced preschool teachers at HWIS, this 100% Mandarin or Spanish immersion class introduces you and your child to the fun of learning a second language! Through stories, songs, movement, and games we provide the most effective environment to put your child on the path to bilingual development. No prior knowledge of the language is required, and children may also be accompanied by a dad, grandparent or other caregiver.
Each class features a focus on a different classic children’s storybook. Stories include such beloved classes such as "Three Billy Goats Gruff", "Brown Bear Brown Bear" and "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".
Children will listen to the story told either in Mandarin or Spanish and enjoy hands-on crafts, learn songs and movement activities – all in either Mandarin or Spanish! Read the NY Times article entitled “Rigorous Bilingual Training, Seen with a Tinge of Regret” to hear another parent’s experience seeing children around the world become bilingual.

HudsonWay Immersion School is an independent preschool through Grade 8 program fostering global skills for the 21stcentury. We start at age 2 ½ immersing children in either Mandarin or Spanish, developing critical thinking, creativity, social-emotional understanding and biliteracy skills - Sign up for the next Info Session on Thursday, February 6 and learn how bilingual children become brilliant adults. We accept on a rolling admissions basis. Extended care is available.
Celebrating a 15-year track record of commitment to immersion, HudsonWay Immersion School recently moved to a newly renovated facility in Stirling, NJ, featuring an indoor gym, private playground, library, music, art and science rooms.
