Our 4th and 5th graders in the NY campus were enthusiastically engaged in a hands-on investigation of “Chemical Reactions” exploring the concepts of solubility, and the creation of new substances such as gases and precipitates involved in mixing two of each of the following substances with water: calcium chloride, baking soda, citric acid.
