Visual Arts – The Art Studio (PreK 3 & 4)

The Art Studio, NYC’s #1-rated art studio for creative education since 2004, brings Visual Arts to our PreK 3’s & 4’s students! The Art Studio’s professional artists will teach your child artistic expression in their inspiring Arts classes which are a proven tool for children’s enrichment, academic success, social connection, stress and anxiety relief and enhanced well-being. Student’s will be taught drawing and painting in various styles while using self-expression and learn about inspiring famous artists. PreK students will be exposed to new and exciting techniques including color mixing, paint splattering, textures, blending, famous artists, patterning, and artistic play. K-5th students will learn color mixing, layering, texture, abstraction, still life, and they will combine materials through mixed-media.

Note: Please do not enroll in this class if you require early pick up while the class is taking place. We will not be able to have staff leave other children to get a child from an enrichment class early.

Cost (Spring Semester): $780 for 13 classes
Dates: Feb 3rd to Jun 2nd, Except School Closed Days Marked on Calendar
Materials: PreK parents are asked to provide their child with a Smock or Old Shirt.
