FREE Virtual Enrichment Fair - NJ

a Fun and FREE event for kids ages 0-12To give back to the community this holiday season, HWIS is partnering with several local enrichment vendors for a fun-filled day of FREE classes for ages 0-12.
NJ: Classes range from Karate for Kids, Zumba Music & Movement, Storytime and Crafts in Mandarin or Spanish, and Martial Arts class. View details for NY here.
The schedule starts at 9 am, consisting of four exciting classes that are 30-minute long. In the afternoon starting at 1 pm, we continue with 30-minute classes. Spots are limited for some classes so if you are interested in joining, get your name on our list now.
Tuesday, Dec. 29th AM session
Story & Crafts in Mandarin
Age: 3-5y
9:00-9:30am
Does your little ones know that New Year is celebrated differently in a lot of places that speak Mandarin? Come and join us for a fun story to learn about how Chinese New Year is celebrated, its traditions, and along with singing a song and a fun craft. This class is ideal for ages 3-5 years old.
Karate Korner for kids 5+
Age: 5y+
9:40-10:10am
This virtual Karate Korner class is designed for children ages 5+ and through the key elements of Karate, children will develop both mental and physical fitness in tandem. It will guide and teach children to interact with others with care and safety while having fun learning the foundations of this art.
Story & Crafts in Spanish
Age: 6-10y
10:20-10:50am
One of the best we do here at HWIS is teaching children to become bilingual! Our teachers bring in experience, enthusiasm, and fun to the learning of Spanish! Come and join us for a fun class that features an interactive story and games, and even a magic trick for the added fun! This class is ideal for children in Grades 1-4.
Music & Movement
Age: 0-4y
11:00-11:30am
Zumbini Music & Movement classes are recommended for Ages 0-4. Created by Zumba Fitness and BabyFirst TV for children, the Zumbini program combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t stop, won’t stop bonding, learning, and fun for your child.
Tuesday, Dec. 29th PM session
Kids Martial Arts Class
Age: 5y+
1:00-1:30pm
This virtual Kids Martial Arts program makes each class personable and interactive. This class begins with a fun warm up followed by a good stretch. The class will then move on to learning how to properly do a punch and a kick. We will enforce what we learned but using objects around the house to do our interactive drills.
Story & Crafts in Mandarin
Age: 6-10y

Zumba Kids Dance

Zumba Kids Dance classes are recommended for older children/siblings Ages 4&UP. Zumba Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba choreography. We break down the steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure.
