Chess Club – Novice (Gr K-5)

This program is exclusively available for HWIS students.

Our Novice Chess Club is provided by “Growing Minds Chess Academy”.

This Club is not for beginners. It is for kids who love the sport and already know how to play. It’s provided by “Growing Minds Chess Academy”. Our novice group are 2x team champion winners. Our Chess Club maintains a focus, further enriched by the thrill of competitive tournaments.

One time, full year registration. There will not be a registration for this class in the Spring. This club is taught by a national championship winner who has been teaching Chess with us for many years.

Prerequisites: Must already know how to play. For intermediate players only.

Days: Tuesdays
Class Time: 3:35–4:35pm
Grades: K-5th
Cost (Year-Long): $1,800 for 30 Classes
