Chess Club – Advanced (Gr K-5)

This program is exclusively available for HWIS students and requires an advanced knowledge of the sport.

Our Advanced Chess Club is provided by “Growing Minds Chess Academy”.

This Club is not for beginners. It is for kids who love the sport and already know how to play and compete in tournaments.
It’s provided by “Growing Minds Chess Academy”. Our Chess Club maintains a focus, further enriched by the thrill of competitive tournaments. One time, full year registration. There will not be a registration for this class in the Spring.

Prerequisites: Must already know how to play. For advanced players only. This class is taught by a Chess Champion who teaches on an advanced level for kids beyond the Novice (intermediate) skill set.

Days: Tuesdays
Class Time: 3:35–4:35pm
Grades: K-5th
Cost (Year-Long): $1,800 for 30 Classes
