Bilingual Buds Playgroup NJ – Summer 2025

Location: HudsonWay Immersion School at 249 Bebout Ave. Stirling, NJ 07980.

Schedule: Classes are held on Friday mornings from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, with the following session dates:
– Spring: 6/27, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1, 8/8

Age Group: The program is designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years, accompanied by dad, mom or other caregiver.

Session Structure:
Led by native-speaking, full time staff of HudsonWay, our educators offer a fun-filled introduction to the joys of learning a second language through storytelling, music, movement, and interactive games!

Each class is 45 minutes and with a sample structure as follows:
Welcome and Warm-Up (5 minutes): A brief, engaging activity to welcome everyone and set the tone for the session.
Main Activity (30 minutes):
– Songs (10 minutes): Introducing new language concepts through thematic songs.
– Interactive Games and Crafts (10 minutes): Hands-on activities to practice the language.
– Storytelling (5 minutes): A story that encourages interaction and comprehension.
Wrap-Up and Goodbye (5 minutes): A calming activity or story, concluding the session with a farewell and reinforcement of the day’s learning.

Curriculum Highlights:
Over the course of each session, we will explore beloved children’s books to provide a rich linguistic and cultural experience. Some examples of the books we’ll be exploring:
– “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”
– “Big Red Barn”
– “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”
Children will explore various concepts such as colors, numbers, animal names, and fruits, gaining exposure to Spanish vocabulary within familiar and engaging narratives.

Spaces are limited to ensure personalized attention and a high-quality experience for all participants. Early registration is recommended to secure your spot. Sign-ups will be available for every 6-session term.
Fees: The full session cost is $150, and the drop-in session is $30 per class.
