Creatineers: Animation Innovators! – STEM (Gr 1-6) The activities in the Winter Session will be different from those in the Fall Session.
Ever wonder how your favorite Pixar movie or cartoon is made? This course introduces creatineers to the foundational animation concepts of stop-animation to bring their own stories to life!
Students will learn and develop skills in storytelling, design, sculpture, lighting, planning, storyboarding, and production. Our hands-on animation activities make it easy for our Creatineers to learn the stop-animation concepts and techniques and apply them to their own film! In addition, students will have the opportunity to explore various careers in art, technology, math and engineering. Creatineers will make their own stop-animation films by the end of the course and you will be blown away by what these young filmmakers can create! Our STEM and art-based programs inspire students to explore the captivating world of animation. With a perfect blend of creativity, technical skills, and pure fun, we offer an immersive learning experience that fuels imagination and fosters a love for visual storytelling. Our project-based approach empowers students to bring their ideas to life while our diverse programs cater to various interests and abilities.

– No refunds will be issued for student absences.
– In the event of teacher absence, a make-up class will be scheduled in advance.
– Late registrations will incur a higher per-class fee if a student joins after the session has begun.
– Certain classes do not accept new students once the session has started.
