Virtual Webinar: Social-emotional impact of Covid on children by Dr. Steven Tobias
November 14, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
November 14 @ 7-8 pm
COVID has brought an increase in stress in children’s lives, as well as an impact on their ability to socialize. Remote learning and the cancellation of extracurricular activities have limited children’s opportunities to learn and practice social skills. There has been a significant increase in emotional difficulties among children during this time, although there had been a steady increase in anxiety and depression among children even before COVID. However, the good news is that quality private schools have minimized this impact, and children’s brains are developing and can make up for a temporary delay. This webinar will focus on what parents can do to help children get back on track and thrive.
