NJ SCHOLARSHIP Program - GRADES 4-6
UPTO 60% TUITION REMISSION STARTING IN 2025-26
Our personalized Gr 4-6 experience challenges and supports students on their journey to become global citizens. There are two tracks for incoming students:Â
IMMERSION COHORT - For students with prior language exposure in Mandarin or Spanish seeking advanced biliteracy.
- For students with a start in language immersion prior to grade 2
- Focus on biliteracy in language arts, math, science, social studies
- AP level proficiency and Global Seal of Biliteracy by high school
- Language specific requirement: Mandarin or Spanish reading assessment
ACCELERATED BILINGUAL COHORT (ABC) - For students with no prior language background seeking intensive Mandarin or Spanish immersion.
- For students with little or no background in Mandarin or Spanish prior to Grade 4
- Intensive Immersive language support
- Preparing students for advanced language studiesÂ
- No prior Mandarin or Spanish proficiency is required
- Above average academic achievement
Introducing the HWIS Founders Scholarship
A merit-based scholarship for Gr 4-6 students, available to both immersion students and those new to language immersion.
- Students benefit from scholarship through Grades 4, 5 and 6
- Scholarships in combination with financial aid may support up to 60% of tuition
- Scholarship applicants benefit from application fee waiver
