Our campers will don their backpacks, step into our time machine, and off they will go on this magical classroom adventure! Each weekly session allows campers the opportunity to explore a major Dynasty of China or a pre-Columbian civilization  in depth–including its art, music, geography, dress, architecture, and dance.  Instruction is 100% in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish. Experienced, native speaking teachers use non-verbal cues to guide campers of all levels as they acquire language skills and become global historians.

HWIS Immersion Summer Camps are not only language immersion, but cultural immersion as well. Campers will have a blast as they engage in hands-on, multicultural activities aligned to the introduction and strengthening of the target language. At the end of each session, campers will take home a portfolio of all of their amazing projects!

Each day, campers will participate in fun outdoor sports and games!

“My daughter has attended [HudsonWay Immersion School] summer camp from 5yo-7yo. She loves the camp’s arts and crafts, field trips, making dumplings, clay sculptures, Chinese brush painting, Chinese jump rope, and many other creative activities. The teachers were amazing too. Her Chinese improved dramatically by the end of every week there. I was so thrilled that she was learning Mandarin and Chinese culture in a super fun environment.”

“My son attended HWIS Summer Camp last summer for 2 weeks. He loved his time there. The teachers are very engaging and caring. He came home singing whole songs that he learned in one week. We would recommend this camp.
