Virtual after school Mandarin class for Grades 5-7 – For HWIS Alumni students only
Designed for HWIS alumni students that have attended HWIS through Grade 3 and up, we carefully choose a combination of materials of online resources that are relevant for this age group such as news articles and other current topics, as well as topics that are related to student’s real life.  The emphasis for this class will be on speaking and listening, but there will be reading and writing work as well.  Homework is expected on a weekly basis.

Class Schedule:

Classes are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday after school.

Intermediate G5-7 Class @ 4:30-5:30pm

Advanced G5-7 Class @ 5:30-6:30pm

Classes begin the week of November 28th, 2022 and it will run 22 weeks through the week of May 22nd, 2023. There will be a winter break (12/19/22-1/2/23) and spring break (3/13/23-3/24/23) where there’s no class scheduled.

Cost:  
$770 for 1 time a week
$1,540 for twice a week
