Sculpture (Grade K to 5)
Students will experience the process of creating and completing a sculpture project. Students will be introduced to sculpture design and learn how to use the tools and techniques to initiate a sculpture. Students will complete the development of the sculpture which includes baking and painting finishes.
About the teacher: Walter Pineda was born in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. As a child, he enjoyed drawing and industrial art. For the past 40 years, he has enjoyed practicing sculpture and creating many different forms of art. He enjoys working with students and helping each child discover the artist within.
