What Is Immersion Education?
Immersion is an educational model in which students learn core curriculum (math, science, social studies, & language arts) using an additional language as the vehicle of instruction. Bilingual & biliterate students consistently outperform monolinguals in pattern recognition & problem solving, score higher on SATs & PISA tests, and gain admission to top high schools.
