Dress Code for Preschool students
Your child should come dressed in comfortable and washable clothes (nothing that cannot get dirty). Students may not wear superhero costumes, ballerina attire or tutus, unless the teacher or the administration invites them to dress in a certain style for a holiday or a school spirit day. Extra diapers, clothing, and/or underwear are required to be stocked in the bin/cubby in case of an accident. It is also suggested that a sweater or sweatshirt be kept in the school, in the event the weather changes.
Dress Code for Kindergarten Through Fifth Grade
HWIS’ dress code requires students wear school colors in line with our new branding and approved styles of clothing on non-PE days. Girls have the choice of white or yellow polo shirts with khaki pants, skirt, or shorts and boys have the choice of forest green or white polo shirts with khaki pants or shorts.
We have partnered with French Toast to provide a website populated with these approved colors and styles. However, you are free to purchase from any other store such as JC Penny, Kmart or Burlington Coat Factory. While logos for the new HudsonWay Immersion School are provided through French Toast, they are not a required element of the dress code.
We also added several choices from Lands’ End for the cooler weather as additions to the French Toast sweaters. The site is ready now and you can click on this link inputting our school code of 900144858 to order one of three styles in fleece for either girls or boys’.
Due to the fact that French Toast has so many items on backorder, we have also made uniforms available through Lands’ End. How to order uniforms from Lands’ End
